Permanent Cosmetic is a form of tattooing. It is also referred to as EXTENDED WEAR COSMETICS, permanent make-up, micro-pigmentation, cosmetic tattooing or derma-pigmentation. Permanent cosmetics are not medical procedures, as some claim in their presentation.

We consider this procedure as semi-permanent or "extended wear make up", there are many variable that affect longevity. This procedure should be approached conservatively, to enhance your natural beauty but not totally replacing tradition make up.

Q. Suppose eyebrow styles change?
Your eyebrow shape will be based on your own preferences which is discussed in detail at consultation to determine a classic shape that can stand the test of trends.

Absolutely. During your consultation, we provide a wide array of FDA approved pigments to choose from. You must approve of all design work before proceeding with the procedure. It must meet your expectations.

Many people love permanent cosmetics because it can harmonize features. Its very convenient for people with busy, active lifestyles. It is also useful for anyone with physical disabilities such as Parkinson's disease, arthritis, MS and visual impairments. It serves for areola restoration, scar camouflage post augmentation, rhytidectomy, cleft palate and vitiligo.

Each person's response to this question will vary, as each clients threshold of discomfort is different. We have excellent topical anesthetics, which normally reduce discomfort to a minimum.

Usually the same day if you wish, although I always recommend that my clients return home and rest. You will be provided with very detailed Pre and Post Procedure Instructions to follow.

Q. Are there any suggestions for scheduling permanent cosmetic procedures?
Its best to schedule two to three weeks before a special event such as vacation or an important social gathering and when you have a couple of days off before returning to work.

There will be slight swelling and redness in the skin, which will subside quickly. Complete healing takes one to six weeks while the pigmentation softens, matures and reaches its final color. Its imperative you return six weeks after procedure for a follow up visit.
